Brunch Scones recipe.

Ingredients
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 tablespoons white sugar
2/3 cup whole milk
1/2 cup currants
1 egg yolk, beaten

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with baking parchment.
Sift flour and baking powder into a medium bowl. Rub butter and sugar into flour to form a fine crumble. Make a well in center, and add milk and currants. Knead gently together, being careful not to over mix. Dough will be sticky.
On a generously floured surface, roll out dough to 3/4 inch thickness. Stamp out 2 1/2 inch rounds with a plain pastry cutter. Transfer to prepared pan, and brush tops with egg yolk. Allow to stand for 15 minutes.
Bake in preheated oven until risen and lightly golden on top, 12 to 15 minutes. Remove to a rack to cool.

Butternut Pie Crust recipe.

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup mashed, cooked butternut squash

Directions
Place the flour, egg and squash into the container of a food processor. Pulse until mixed into a doughy ball. You may need to add a little extra flour. Divide into two equal parts. Use in your favorite pie recipe.

Annie's Strawberry Dessert recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries, halved
1 (8 ounce) jar ready-to-use strawberry glaze

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mix the butter, flour, and pecans in a bowl, and press into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes; do not allow to brown. Set aside until completely cool.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Blend in the whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust. Refrigerate 8 hours, or overnight.
Top with strawberries and drizzle with glaze to serve.

Butter Cookies recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons milk
red food coloring

Directions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Place the dough in a cookie press fitted with a heart plate; form cookies on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 6-8 minutes or until set but not brown. Cool on wire racks.
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Blend in enough milk until desired spreading consistency is reached. Add food coloring to a portion or all of the frosting if desired. Frost cookies.

Black Bean Medley recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup uncooked brown rice
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 cups frozen corn
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14.5 ounce) can Mexican stewed tomatoes
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions
Cook rice according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a nonstick skillet, saute the onion, sweet peppers and garlic in oil until tender. Add the corn. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir for 5 minutes or until corn is tender. Add the black beans, tomatoes, vinegar, salt and pepper. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve over the brown rice.

Baked Brussels Sprouts recipe.

Ingredients
2 pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the Brussels sprouts into a casserole or Dutch oven with a lid. Arrange pieces of butter on top of the sprouts. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Cover with the lid.
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until sprouts are just barely tender. Stir now and then to keep them from sticking. During the last 10 minutes, sprinkle the pine nuts over the sprouts and remove the lid. When the sprouts are done, sprinkle blue cheese over them before serving.

Baked Beans III recipe.

Ingredients
1 (28 ounce) can baked beans
1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
8 ounces brown sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Pour beans into a 2 quart casserole dish.
Place bacon in a 9 inch skillet, completely covering bottom of pan. Spread brown sugar over bacon and cook on medium heat. When bacon grease starts to bubble up through the sugar, transfer to the casserole dish and mix with beans.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Buttermilk Seed Bread recipe.

Ingredients
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 teaspoon white sugar
3/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons flax seeds
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
2 cups whole wheat flour
4 cups bread flour

Directions
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
Combine buttermilk, butter or margarine, honey and the yeast mixture in a large bowl. Add the salt, all of the seeds and the whole wheat flour. Stir to combine. Add the bread flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well with a wooden spoon after each addition. When the dough has pulled together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 minutes.
Lightly oil a large mixing bowl, place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat with the oil. Cover with a damp cloth and put in a warm place to rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees F). Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
Deflate the dough and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into two equal pieces and form into loaves. Place the loaves into the prepared pans. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in volume, about 40 minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 30 minutes or until the tops are brown and the bottom of a loaf sounds hollow when tapped.

Brown Sugar Biscuits recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
5 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet, or use parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cream of tartar. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in milk and vanilla. Knead briefly on a floured surface. Roll out into a large rectangle, 1/2 inch thick. Spread softened butter onto surface of dough. Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over butter. Roll tightly, and cut into 12 equal slices. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Avocado Energy Booster recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 cup ice
2 avocados - peeled, pitted, and cubed
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup milk
1/4 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (optional)
2 cups vanilla flavored whey protein powder

Directions
Place ice, avocado, maple syrup, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla powder into a blender. Puree until smooth.

Antipasto Salad recipe.

Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) package Hillshire Farm� Smoked Sausage
6 cups mixed salad greens
2 cups red or yellow grape tomatoes
1 tomato, cut into thin wedges
1 small cucumber, sliced
1 cup small cauliflower florets
3/4 cup pitted ripe black olives
2/3 cup Italian salad dressing
1 (4 ounce) package crumbled feta cheese
2 green onions, sliced

Directions
Cut sausage into 1/2" slices. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Cook sausage 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned; remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
Arrange salad greens on large platter. Place cooked sausage in center of platter in a row. Arrange tomatoes, cucumber, cauliflower and olives in rows on either side of the sausage.
Pour salad dressing over vegetables and sausage. Sprinkle with feta cheese and green onions.

Blueberry Flummery recipe.

Ingredients
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
2 pints fresh blueberries
1/2 cup white sugar, or more to taste
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk

Directions
Whisk the pudding and 2 cups milk together in a bowl until thickened, about 2 minutes. Refrigerate the pudding until serving time.
Mix blueberries and 1/2 cup sugar in a large saucepan, and pour in enough water to just barely cover the berries. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, reduce heat to low, and simmer while you make the biscuits.
To make drop biscuits, mix flour, baking powder, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and salt together in a bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, and pour in vegetable oil and 1 cup of milk. Stir until the mixture forms a soft dough.
Bring the berry mixture back to a boil, and drop the biscuit dough into the boiling blueberries by heaping spoonfuls. Cover, and simmer over medium-low heat until the biscuit dough is cooked through, about 15 minutes. A knife inserted into a dumpling will come out clean. To serve, scoop a biscuit into a serving bowl, spoon blueberry sauce over, and top with chilled vanilla pudding.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup recipe.

Ingredients
1 pound dry great Northern beans
8 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped carrots
1/2 stalk celery, chopped
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon mustard powder
2 bay leaves
2 cups chopped ham
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper

Directions
Rinse the beans, sorting out any broken or discolored ones. In a large pot over high heat, bring the water to a boil. Add the salt and the beans and remove from heat. Let beans sit in the hot water for at least 60 minutes.
After the 60 minutes of soaking, return the pot to high heat and place the ham bone, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, mustard and bay leaves in the pot. Stir well, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 60 more minutes.
Remove ham bone and discard. Stir in the chopped ham and simmer for 30 more minutes. Season with ground white pepper to taste.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup recipe.

Ingredients
1 pound bacon, chopped
2 stalks celery, diced
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 cups chicken stock, or enough to cover potatoes
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
3 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
In a Dutch oven, cook the bacon over medium heat until done. Remove bacon from pan, and set aside. Drain off all but 1/4 cup of the bacon grease.
In the bacon grease remaining in the pan, saute the celery and onion until onion begins to turn clear. Add the garlic, and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the cubed potatoes, and toss to coat. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Return the bacon to the pan, and add enough chicken stock to just cover the potatoes. Cover, and simmer until potatoes are tender.
In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour. Cook stirring constantly, for 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in the heavy cream, tarragon and cilantro. Bring the cream mixture to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir the cream mixture into the potato mixture. Puree about 1/2 the soup, and return to the pan. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Breakfast Meatloaf recipe.

Ingredients
2 pounds ground turkey
2 cups textured vegetable protein
2 cups powdered milk
6 eggs, beaten
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground sage

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x11 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, tvp, powdered milk, and eggs until well blended. Mix in the green peppers, onion, celery and spinach. Season with black pepper and sage. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until the center is firm and the juices run clear. Let stand for a few minutes before slicing into 16 slices.

Apricot Kuchen recipe.

Ingredients
8 ounces dried apricot halves
3 cups cold water
2 cups sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
Ground cinnamon
Additional sugar

Directions
Place apricots and water in a bowl; soak overnight.
In a saucepan, combine apricots, soaking liquid, and sugar. Simmer until apricots are transparent. Cool; drain and set aside.
Place flour in a mixing bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Dissolve yeast in water; add to crumb mixture along with sugar, salt, eggs and cardamom. Beat until smooth (dough will be soft and sticky). Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 1/2 hours.
On a floured surface or pastry cloth, knead dough for 2 minutes. Divide into three portions; roll each in a 9-inch circle. Place each in a greased 9-inch round cake pan. Let rise until doubled, about 1 1/4 hours.
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place apricots on top of dough. Combine cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle over apricots. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

A Good Barbeque Sauce recipe.

Ingredients
1 (12 fluid ounce) can cola-flavored carbonated beverage
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup minced onion
garlic powder to taste
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine the cola, ketchup, onion, garlic powder and hot pepper sauce. Cook over medium heat until reduced by a third and thickened.

Basil Green Beans recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups frozen French-style green beans
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
salt to taste

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 6-8 minutes or until beans are tender.

Artichoke Salad I recipe.

Ingredients
1 (10.75 ounce) package chicken flavored rice mix (e.g. Rice A Roni)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 dash hot pepper sauce
2 (6.5 ounce) jars marinated artichoke hearts, diced
6 green onions, chopped
12 pimento-stuffed green olives, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped

Directions
Prepare rice as package directs, omitting butter, instead spray pan with non-stick vegetable oil. Cool mixture in refrigerator.
In a mixing bowl, combine artichokes, green onions, green olives and bell pepper.
Prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, curry powder and hot pepper sauce. Pour dressing over combined rice and vegetable mix, stir well and chill.

Almond Peanut Butter Squares recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups whole unblanched almonds

Directions
Line a 9-in. square pan with foil and butter the foil; set aside. Butter the sides of a heavy saucepan; add the sugar, honey and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil, without stirring, for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; immediately stir in the peanut butter, vanilla and almonds. Pour into prepared pan. Let stand at room temperature until completely cool. Cut into squares. Individually wrap pieces in foil or waxed paper; twist ends.

Absolutely Delicious Stuffed Calamari recipe.

Ingredients
12 calamari tubes
2 green onions, finely chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 pound chopped cooked shrimp meat
1/2 pound cooked crabmeat, diced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup butter
12 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups milk
10 ounces freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 pinch ground black pepper
3/4 cup freshly grated Romano cheese
1 (8 ounce) package linguine pasta

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Rinse the calamari tubes and pat dry.
In a large bowl, stir together the onions, 6 cloves of the garlic, shrimp, crabmeat and lemon juice. Spoon some of this mixture into each squid tube and seal the ends by 'sewing' with a toothpick. Arrange in a single layer in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cream cheese and 2 cloves of garlic. Cook and stir until cream cheese has melted. Gradually whisk in the milk. Cook until heated through and then remove from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese and pepper. Pour over all of the calamari tubes in the baking dish. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of Romano cheese on top of each one.
Bake uncovered until the cheese is browned and sauce is bubbly. While the calamari is baking, Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add linguine pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain. Serve the stuffed calamari and sauce over a bed of linguine.

Boston Cream Pie Minis recipe.

Ingredients
1 package (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 cup cold milk
1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
4 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake batter and bake in 24 greased medium muffin pan cups as directed on package. Cool in pans 10 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
Beat milk and dry pudding mix with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, use serrated knife to cut cupcakes horizontally in half. Gently stir 1/2 cup of the whipped topping into pudding. Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of the pudding mixture onto bottom half of each cupcake; cover with top of cupcake.
Microwave remaining 1 cup whipped topping and the chocolate in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Let stand 15 min. to thicken. Spread onto cupcakes. Refrigerate at least 15 min. before serving. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

Better Spanish Rice recipe.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 1/4 cups uncooked instant rice
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 cup chicken broth

Directions
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, and cook and stir the chopped onion until browned, about 8 minutes.
Stir in the rice, tomatoes, cilantro, and chicken broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer until the rice is cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.

Baked Apples with Sweet Potato Stuffing recipe.

Ingredients
6 baking apples - peeled and cored
1/2 cup cinnamon red hot candies
1 cup water
1 (29 ounce) can sweet potatoes, drained
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup chopped pecans
6 large marshmallows

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large pot over medium heat, combine the candies and water. Stir until candies are dissolved.
Add the apples and baste frequently until apples begin to soften. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Mix together the sweet potatoes, brown sugar, pineapple and pecans.
Stuff the cooled apples with the sweet potato mixture. Mound any remaining mixture on top of apples.
Place in 4 quart casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes; place a marshmallow on each apple, return to oven and cook until marshmallows are golden brown.

Baked Halibut Steaks recipe.

Ingredients
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup diced zucchini
1/2 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
2 cups diced fresh tomatoes
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 (6 ounce) halibut steaks
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a shallow baking dish.
Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir in zucchini, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Remove saucepan from heat and mix in tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper.
Arrange halibut steaks in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Spoon equal amounts of the zucchini mixture over each steak. Top with feta cheese.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.

Apricot Oat Muffins recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups fat-free milk
1/3 cup canola oil
1/4 cup egg substitute
3/4 cup chopped dried apricots
1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
In a bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugars, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice and salt. In another bowl, combine milk, oil and egg substitute until blended; stir into dry ingredients just until blended (batter will be thin). Fold in the apricots and walnuts.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

Apple and Pumpkin Dessert recipe.

Ingredients
2 (1 gram) packets sugar substitute
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and chopped
1/4 cup canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons water

Directions
Sprinkle 1/3 packet of sugar substitute and 1/3 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice in the bottom of a microwave-safe bowl. Layer 1/4 of the apple pieces into the bowl; repeat. Spread the pumpkin over the apples. Sprinkle the remaining sugar substitute and pumpkin pie spice on the pumpkin. Top with the remaining apples. Pour the water over the mixture.
Cook in microwave on high for 3 1/2 minutes, stirring every minute.

Barbequed Citrus Burgers recipe.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon barbeque sauce
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup barbeque sauce
4 slices pepperjack cheese
hamburger buns

Directions
Grate the zest from the lemon, lime, and orange into a large bowl. Squeeze the juice from half of each piece of fruit into the bowl. Whisk in 1 tablespoon barbeque sauce. Stir in ground beef; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 10 to 30 minutes.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
Form meat into patties. Grill with lid open, about 3 minutes per side. Brush each burger with one tablespoon barbeque sauce during grilling, coating both sides. Top burgers with pepperjack cheese and cook until cheese is melted and meat is no longer pink in the center, about 1 additional minute.

Amish Peanut Butter recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter, smooth
1/4 cup marshmallow creme

Directions
In a bowl, mix corn syrup, peanut butter and marshmallow creme until thoroughly combined. Store in an air-tight container.

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
2 bananas, sliced
1 quart strawberry ice cream, softened
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup maraschino cherries (optional)

Directions
Mix cookie crumbs with 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine. Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
Arrange bananas over bottom of crust. Spread ice cream in an even layer over bananas. Top with drained pineapple. Whip the cream and spread over top. Sprinkle with nuts.
Place pie in freezer for 4 hours or until firm. Garnish with cherries, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
