Balsamic Chicken recipe.

Ingredients
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions
Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, chicken broth, sugar, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a bowl, place the chicken breasts in the marinade, and marinate for 10 minutes on each side.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and reserve the marinade. Place the chicken in the heated pan and cook until they start to brown and are no longer pink inside, about 7 minutes per side. Pour the marinade into the skillet, and cook until it thickens slightly, turning the chicken breasts over once or twice, about 5 minutes.

Buttermilk Raisin Pie recipe.

Ingredients
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1 egg, beaten
1 cup raisins
1 cup white sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 pinch salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (225 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine egg, raisins, sugar, buttermilk, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Pour mixture into pastry-lined 8 inch pie pan. Cover with second pastry circle. Seal edges and cut steam vents in top.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake an additional 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold.

Banana-Nut Bundt Cake recipe.

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups finely chopped ripe bananas
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda and cinnamon. In another bowl, combine the eggs, oil, bananas, pineapple and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Fold in coconut and nuts. Pour into a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing cake from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.

Brown Sugar Sauce recipe.

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup cold milk
1/4 cup brandy
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
Melt butter in a small saucepan set over medium heat. In a medium-size bowl, stir flour with sugar. Then whisk into melted butter until mixture is moistened. Stir in milk until smooth. Cook, whisking frequently, until thickened and smooth, about 5 minutes. Stir in brandy and vanilla. Remove from heat.
Serve right away over Apple Coffee Cake with Brown Sugar Sauce. Or cover and refrigerate for a week or more. Reheat just before serving.

Burmese Chicken Curry recipe.

Ingredients
2 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon salt
2 onions, chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
2 tablespoons water
5 teaspoons corn oil
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon minced lemon grass
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 cup water

Directions
Rub chicken thighs with curry powder, garam masala, salt. Cover and set aside. Place onion, garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, and paprika in a blender with 2 tablespoons of water and blend into a smooth paste.
Heat the oil in a large, lidded skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir onion mixture until darkened, about 7 minutes. Stir in chicken thighs and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then add tomatoes, lemon grass, and fish sauce. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir in 1 cup of water and bring the curry to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low and cook until the chicken begins to fall apart, stirring occasionally, 25 to 35 minutes. Remove lid and increase heat. Cook until the sauce is reduced, about 5 minutes. Skim off excess oil from the top and discard.

Amish Macaroni Salad recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
2 cups creamy salad dressing (e.g. Miracle Whip)
3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
3/4 cup white sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon celery seed

Directions
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until tender. Drain, and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, onion, celery, red pepper, and relish. In a small bowl, stir together the salad dressing, mustard, white sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed. Pour over the vegetables, and stir in macaroni until well blended. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Banana Snack Cake recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup mashed bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup flaked coconut
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In a medium bowl, mix flour, oats, baking soda and salt together and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well with each addition. Mix in buttermilk, bananas and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well. Finally, fold in the nuts, coconut and 1 cup of the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle top with remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.

BBQ Hotdogs on Rice recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
2 cups water
1 pound kielbasa sausage, thinly sliced
1/2 cup dark molasses
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup barbeque sauce (optional)

Directions
Place the rice and water in a pot, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes.
Cook the kielbasa in a skillet over medium heat until evenly browned. Mix in the molasses, vinegar, tomato sauce, and barbeque sauce. Continue to cook until heated through. Serve over the rice.

Bread Machine Spelt Bread recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon lecithin
3 cups white spelt flour
3 tablespoons dry milk powder

Directions

Baked Chicken Reuben recipe.

Ingredients
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained and pressed
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 1/4 cups thousand island salad dressing
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Place chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place sauerkraut over chicken and top with cheese slices. Pour dressing over all and cover dish with aluminum foil.
Bake in preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (fork can be easily inserted and juices run clear). Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.

Berries 'N' Cream recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 pints fresh strawberries, hulled

Directions
In a small bowl, combine sour cream and brown sugar; stir until smooth. Chill until serving. Use as a dip for whole strawberries or drizzle over a bowl of sliced berries. Store in the refrigerator.

Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Burgers recipe.

Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup dry bread crumbs
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 extra large egg
1/4 cup onion, chopped (optional)
1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Directions
Mix together the chicken, bread crumbs, blue cheese, egg, onion, and wing sauce in a mixing bowl until evenly combined. Form into 4 patties and place between sheets of waxed paper or plastic wrap. Place into an airtight container and refrigerate overnight for best results.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil grate.
Cook the patties on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 3 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns with condiments of your choice.

Blue Ribbon Sugar Cookies recipe.

Ingredients
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar for decoration

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, oil, confectioners' sugar and white sugar until well blended. Stir in the eggs, vanilla and lemon extracts. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until well blended. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls. Place the cookies 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheet. Flatten cookies to 1/8 inch thickness using the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Colored sugar may be used if you do not plan to frost cookies later.
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

1 pound ground beef
1 (1.12 ounce) package Pace� Taco Seasoning Mix
1 (10.75 ounce) can Campbell's� Condensed Tomato Soup
1 1/2 cups water

Directions
Cook beef and taco seasoning in skillet until browned. Pour off fat.

Beef Heart Stew recipe.

Ingredients
1 medium beef heart, rinsed and cubed
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion, peeled and sliced
1 cup water
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

Directions
Dredge the beef heart in flour until coated. Heat the oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Fry the pieces of heart until browned. Stir in onions and water. Season with salt and seasoning salt. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 2 to 3 hours, or until the meat is very tender. Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies recipe.

Ingredients
1 pound sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 ounce) package beef cocktail wieners
3/4 cup brown sugar, or to taste

Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap the wieners with cold bacon. Wrap each cocktail wiener with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all.
Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the sugar is bubbly. To serve, place the wieners in a slow cooker and keep on the low setting.

Ingredients
1 (19.5 ounce) package Pillsbury� Classic Traditional Fudge Brownies
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND� Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom only of 9-inch springform pan. Prepare brownie mix as package directs for chewy brownies. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 35 minutes or until set.
In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan.
Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees F. Bake 50 minutes or until set. Cool. Chill thoroughly. Remove side of springform pan. Garnish as desired. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

Blueberries n' Cheese Squares recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
In a small bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and butter. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping, and press the rest of the crumbs into the bottom of a 7x11 inch baking pan. Set aside to chill in the refrigerator.
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and milk until smooth. Spread evenly over the chilled crumb layer. Spread the pie filling over the cream cheese layer, and chill while preparing the whipped cream. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla until stiff, spread over the top of the blueberry layer. Sprinkle the top with the remaining graham cracker crumb mixture and keep chilled until serving time.

Bacon Crackers recipe.

Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) package buttery round crackers
1 pound sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 pound brown sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
Arrange the crackers in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Top each cracker with 1/3 slice bacon, and sprinkle desired amount of brown sugar over all.
Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until browned and crisp. Serve warm.

Blue Cheese Cole Slaw recipe.

Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) package shredded coleslaw mix
2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup prepared Dijon-style mustard
1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar

Directions
In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, cheese, sugar and vinegar. Add the coleslaw mix, grapes and carrots and stir until evenly coated. Chill until serving.

Blackberry Balsamic Chicken recipe.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 (6 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme
1/3 cup seedless blackberry fruit spread, no sugar added
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch, or as desired (optional)

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, 2 to 3 minutes per side. While the chicken breasts are cooking, whisk together the chicken broth, thyme, blackberry spread, and balsamic vinegar.
Once the chicken breasts have browned on both sides, pour in the blackberry sauce, and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the chicken breasts are no longer pink in the center, about 15 minutes. Turn the chicken breasts over halfway through cooking. Serve with the reduced blackberry sauce. For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with about 2 teaspoons of water, and stir into simmering sauce; let cook until thickened, about 1 minute.

Breaded Flounder Fillets recipe.

Ingredients
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 egg whites
1/4 cup fat-free milk
4 (6 ounce) fillets flounder
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, salt, paprika and pepper. In another shallow bowl, beat egg whites and milk. Coat fish with cornmeal mixture, then dip into egg white mixture. Coat fish again in cornmeal mixture. In a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray, arrange fish in a single layer. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 425 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Braised Oxtails in Red Wine Sauce recipe.

Ingredients
2 (750 milliliter) bottles dry red wine
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
5 pounds beef oxtail, cut into pieces
1/4 cup butter, divided
5 shallots, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
2 sprigs fresh thyme
2 sprigs flat-leaf parsley
5 cups beef broth

Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Simmer the red wine in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until reduced by half. Meanwhile, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Dredge the oxtail in the seasoned flour, and shake off excess; set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a roasting pan over medium-high heat. Brown the oxtail on all sides, about 10 minutes.
Remove the oxtails from the pan and set aside. Turn the heat to medium-low and melt another 1 tablespoon of butter in the pan. Stir in the shallots, garlic, onion, carrots, and celery. Cook and stir until the vegetables have softened, about 10 minutes. Stir in the thyme, bay leaf, parsley, beef broth, and reduced red wine. Place the browned oxtail on top of the vegetables in a single layer, then bring to a boil.
Cover with a tight fitting lid or aluminum foil, then bake in preheated oven until the oxtail is very tender and nearly falling off the bone, 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
Once the oxtail is tender, remove the meat to a serving dish, cover, and keep warm. Strain the remaining braising liquid through a mesh strainer into a saucepan. Simmer over medium-high heat until the sauce has reduced to 2 cups. Whisk in the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and pour over the oxtail to serve.

Apricot Crumble recipe.

Ingredients
8 cups fresh apricots, pitted and coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped (optional)

Directions
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Toss the apricots with the lemon juice in a bowl; set aside. Combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in a bowl. Cut in the butter with a knife or pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set 2 cups of the oat mixture aside in a bowl. Mix the water into the remaining oat mixture until well blended; pat mixture into the prepared baking dish to make a crust. Spread the apricots evenly over the crust, and top with the reserved crumble mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven until the topping is lightly browned, 35 to 40 minutes. Served hot with whipped cream.

Bloody Mary Ceviche recipe.

Ingredients
1 pound cooked, peeled, and deveined shrimp
1 pound roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
1/2 red onion, chopped
1 cucumber, chopped
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
3/4 cup bottled Bloody Mary mix
hot pepper sauce to taste
salt and black pepper to taste

Directions
Lightly mix the shrimp, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and cilantro in a bowl, and pour in the Bloody Mary mix. Squeeze the limes over the mixture, add a dash of hot pepper sauce, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss again, cover the bowl, and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

Apricot Brown Sugar Ham recipe.

Ingredients
1 (10 pound) fully-cooked spiral cut ham
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup apricot jam
1 teaspoon dry mustard powder

Directions
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
Place the ham cut side down onto a sheet of aluminum foil. I like to put the shiny side up. Mix together the brown sugar, apricot jam and mustard powder in a small bowl. Brush onto the ham using a pastry or barbeque brush. Reserve any leftover glaze. Enclose the foil around the ham and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
Roast for 2 hours in the preheated oven, or if you ham is a different size, figure 14 minutes per pound. Apply the remaining glaze 20 minutes before the ham is done.

Blueberry Oat Waffles recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups buttermilk pancake mix
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries*

Directions
In a bowl, combine the pancake mix, oats and sugar. Whisk the milk, egg and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Fold in berries. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's direction.

Black Bing Cherry Pie recipe.

Ingredients
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
2 lemons, juiced
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (16.5 ounce) can pitted Bing cherries, drained
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Directions
In a large bowl, combine condensed milk, lemon juice, pecans and cherries.
In a separate bowl, whip cream to soft peaks, and fold into milk mixture.
Pour into crust and chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Black Friday Pie recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup mashed potatoes
1/2 cup cubed cooked turkey
1/2 cup cooked cut green beans
1/2 cup turkey gravy
1 cup prepared stuffing
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Thoroughly grease a 9-inch glass pie plate.
Spread mashed potatoes onto the bottom and up the sides of the greased pie plate. Fill potato crust with the turkey, green beans, and gravy. Smooth stuffing on top of the turkey and gravy to create a top crust.
Brush top of pie with melted butter. Bake pie until stuffing is golden and crispy, about 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Brownie Mounds recipe.

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add corn syrup and egg; beat well. Stir in chocolate and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to chocolate mixture; beat well. Stir in walnuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Bloody Mary-Balsamic Dressing recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup Bloody Mary mix
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 cloves garlic
3 packets artificial sweetener

Directions
Pour Bloody Mary mix, oil, vinegar, pepper, garlic, and sweetener into a blender. Puree until the garlic is finely minced, and the dressing is thick and smooth. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.

Apple Sausage Bake recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups crushed saltines
1 cup finely chopped peeled tart apple
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 pounds bulk pork sausage

Directions
In a large bowl, beat eggs, add milk, saltines, apple and onion. Add the sausage and mix well. Lightly press into a greased 6-cup ring mold or other mold. Invert onto a lightly greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan; remove mold. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until a meat thermometer reads 170 degrees F; drain.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets recipe.

Ingredients
6 (5 ounce) salmon fillets
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon white wine
1 tablespoon honey
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Coat a small saucepan with non-stick cooking spray. Over medium heat, cook and stir garlic until soft, about 3 minutes. Mix in white wine, honey, balsamic vinegar, mustard, and salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for about 3 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
Arrange salmon fillets on foil-lined baking sheet. Brush fillets with balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with oregano.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes, or until flesh flakes easily with a fork. Brush fillets with remaining glaze, and season with salt and pepper. Use a spatula to transfer fillets to serving platter, leaving the skin behind on the foil.

Basic Bechamel Sauce recipe.

Ingredients
5 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 quart milk
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Directions
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the flour until smooth. Continue stirring as the flour cooks to a light, golden, sandy color, about 7 minutes.
Increase heat to medium-high and slowly whisk in milk until thickened by the roux. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low and continue simmering until the flour has softened and not longer tastes gritty, 10 to 20 minutes, then season with salt and nutmeg.

Bruschetta II recipe.

Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) loaf French baguette
1 1/2 cups spinach - packed, rinsed and torn
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cups finely chopped almonds
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1 clove garlic, minced
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion

Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Arrange the bread slices on a non-stick cookie sheet.
In an electric blender or food processor combine the spinach, Parmesan, almonds, basil, garlic, salt and pepper. Blend until a paste forms. Pulse in 2 tablespoons olive oil; continue pulsing until the mixture is the consistency of soft butter.
In a small mixing bowl combine chopped tomatoes, green onion and 1 tablespoon olive oil; stir.
Bake the bread slices for 5 minutes or until crisp and brown.
Arrange toast on a serving platter. Spread each piece of toast with a thin layer of the blended pesto, then top with the tomato mixture.
