Brown Sugar Candy recipe.

Ingredients
1 pound brown sugar
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions
Butter a 8 or 9 inch square baking dish.
In a large heavy saucepan, stir together the brown sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until the temperature reaches between 234 and 240 degrees F (112 to 116 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from the water and placed on a flat surface.
Remove from the heat and stir in the butter, vanilla and walnuts. Continue to beat with a sturdy spoon until the mixture looses its gloss. Pour into the prepared pan. Score into squares with a knife then set aside until firm, about 5 minutes. Cut into squares and serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Blueberry Fruit Salad recipe.

Ingredients
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches
4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
3 medium firm bananas, sliced
1 cup green grapes, halved
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
3 tablespoons orange breakfast drink mix

Directions
Drain pineapple and peaches, reserving juices; set aside. Combine the fruit in a large bowl. In another bowl, combine fruit juices with pudding and drink mixes; mix well. Pour over fruit and toss to coat.

Broccoli Chicken Braid recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 cup chopped fresh broccoli florets
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg white, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons slivered almonds

Directions
In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Stir in mayonnaise. Unroll both tubes of crescent roll dough into one long rectangle on an ungreased baking sheet. Roll into a 15-in. x 12-in. rectangle, sealing seams and perforations. Spoon chicken mixture down center third of dough.
On each long side, cut eight strips about 3-1/2 in. into the center. bring one strip from each side over filling and pinch ends to seal; repeat. Brush with egg white. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until filling is heated through and top is golden brown.

Banana Nut Quesadilla Wedges recipe.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 (8 inch) flour tortillas
Vegetable oil spread or margarine
1/4 cup JIF� Creamy Reduced Fat Peanut Spread
1 large banana, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions
Combine the cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
Cover one side of tortilla sparingly with vegetable oil spread. Place spread side down in 10-inch skillet. Spread topside with peanut butter, top with banana slices, sprinkle with brown sugar and top with remaining tortilla. Spread top of tortilla sparingly with vegetable oil spread and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Cover skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until the bottom is golden brown. Turn tortilla with a wide spatula. Sprinkle top with remaining cinnamon and sugar. Continue cooking covered until bottom is golden brown. Remove to cutting board and slice into 8 wedges. Serve warm.
